The Bean is an accomplished and proficient Strategic Can-Do-Ologist.
But what's "strategic can-do-ology?" So glad you asked!
It's the combination of high-level strategic and big-picture thinking with detail-oriented, fast-paced and organized doing.
So what are examples of strategic can-do-ing?
- Brainstorming with you to develop next steps, identifying and leveraging resources to accomplish those steps, and assisting you in making those steps
- Offering a legal perspective as you proceed with your ideas, highlighting areas where you might need specific protections (e.g., trademarks, terms of service)
- Drafting a letter that gives you writer's block, or polishing up an article you wrote that gives you headaches just thinking about reworking it, or sharing the drafting and editing and polishing tasks with you--taking over when you get stuck and helping you get unstuck and on your way again
- Responding to client or customer emails and inquiries in a professional but friendly and welcoming manner, ensuring they receive thorough responses that are still thoroughly human
- Setting up an online system to help get you noticed and keep you organized: perhaps creating a website and blog for your business, getting you a web domain and corresponding email addresses, setting up an online calendar or project management system, and making sure you're comfortable with your system, and that it works for you--rather than the other way around
- Making vague ideas or questions more concrete and actionable by fleshing out the "gray areas" and obstacles, researching for any missing or new details, and helping you put that information to good use
